What is online personal training?

Online personal training is the best way to hire a full time, one-to-one fitness coach at an affordable price, regardless of your available equipment, wherever you are in the world.

What does the monthly membership include?

The monthly online memberships mean you get me as your full-time, one-on-one personal trainer. Your plan is bespoke and updates every 4 weeks, and we have regular check ins. You will have a full onboarding process and nutrition guidance throughout.

How much does your online personal training cost?

The programme costs £80 and will be billed at the start of every month.

How do I cancel?

Each client signs up to a recurring membership, with a minimum 2 month commitment. After the first 2 months, you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time with a minimum of 14 days’ notice. Once you cancel, your payments will stop, and you will be able to continue using the service until the end of your current period. Even if you decide to cancel before the 2 month commitment is up, you will still be billed for both months.

I am a complete beginner. Is this for me?

100%. Beginners and novices are more than welcome. When I design a programme, it is completely bespoke meaning it will be pitched at YOUR level. With the constant feedback I provide, you will feel supported and guided throughout your fitness journey with me.

I am an advanced lifter/athlete. Is this for me?

100%. I am a multi-sport competitor myself, ranging from rugby to long distance endurance with an educational background in Sport Science, Strength and Conditioning. Whichever sport you participate in, I can adapt my knowledge and select the best approach and exercises to facilitate the required movements. You will become stronger, fitter, more agile and more educated in your training.

If I sign up now, how long till I get my plan?

I will contact you within 24 hours of submitting your membership form to organise an onboarding video call. Once I have gathered all your relevant training and nutritional information, it will take up to 7 days for me to design your first, fully custom four-week training phase.

Will my plan be bespoke?

Yes. Everyone is different, which is why the onboarding process is so important. Mobility restrictions, injuries (past and present), training experience, diet and equipment restrictions are all front of mind when designing your programme.

How do I get my plan?

Your training plan is delivered via the LK Fitness app (available for download on all smart phones). When you plan goes live, we will have another call to ensure you understand how the app works, the workouts, the calorie intake etc.

Do I need a gym membership?

No. Your plan will be designed around the equipment you have available. Having said that, if your goal is to build muscle and you have no equipment, then I recommend either joining a gym or purchasing some basic equipment; like a set of adjustable dumbbells and a bench.

Do I need to be UK based?

Not at all! The best thing about an online coach is that we can train wherever you are in the world. If you travel a lot, we can adapt your programme so you can continue training while you’re abroad.

How do I know if I am doing the exercises correctly?

Each exercise is accompanied by a video demo including key coaching points. Still unsure if you’re performing an exercise correctly? You can record yourself and send it to me. During your weekly video feedback, I’ll be able to critique your form and iron out any issues you may have.

How do you track my progress?

You can track every rep, set, weight used, distance covered, and time taken in the LK Fitness app, which will be synced instantaneously to my online system. I’ll go through this data weekly and track your progress.

How often will you check-in with me?

Any good coach should have constant contact with their clients. It is important to me that every client gets the opportunity to check in as much as possible for motivation, and the opportunity to discuss any required changes and uncertainties. Upon sign up you will get:

  • Bi-weekly video check ins
  • Unlimited in-app messaging/WhatsApp support
  • 4 x video feedback tutorials each month

We will also discuss energy levels, mood, sleep, weight or intensity to ensure the training volume is pitched at the right level.

Using this information, along with your exercise and diet tracking, I’ll provide you with personalised video feedback to highlight areas in which you’re doing well, things that can be improved and what we need to work on moving into the following week. All this ensures we’re consistently moving towards your goal at a rate in which you are happy.

How long before I see results?

Most clients see progress after just a few weeks of following their plan. However, results vary from person to person and the ownership is completely on you. I provide you with all the tools to achieve your goals, but ultimately it is down to the work you put in. Do you provide in-person or online 121 training sessions?

Both! I am based in Surrey, so members who live Surrey or the surrounding areas can bolt-on in person sessions at the cost of £60 / hour. If you’re further afield, I can dial in for an on online coaching session. click here for more information about 121 training

How do you track my nutrition?

When setting up, I will ask you to download the MYFitnessPal app to your device. You will keep a food diary for that first week while your programme is being made. We will connect MYFitnessPal to the LK Fitness app so I can track what you’re eating. You will be given a specific calorie target to hit every day. Combine this with my recipe e-book that gives you over 100 delicious healthy recipes providing total calorie amount and macro splits. Simply select the meals which keep you in your calorie amount for that day to achieve your goal. Easy.

Do you provide a food plan?

I provide your daily calorie amount as this is changeable depending on your weight. However, I do not provide a weekly food plan. I believe a massive part of my clients ongoing success is educating them in how to fuel themselves correctly. Using my recipe e-book there is literally no excuse to eat unhealthy. I provide the calorie target so you know not to eat too much, but apart from that, get stuck in. I can share my recipe book with you when you sign up.

Does the LK Fitness Cookbook cater for vegans and vegetarians?

Yep! The book provides meat, vegetarian and vegan recipes.
